How God Sees Creation
In the beginning God created light, skies, atmosphere, evening, morning, land, seas, grass, herbs, seeds, fruits, sun, moon, stars, seasons, days, years, living creatures, and mankind.
God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good.
The Book of Genesis, Chapter 1
He knows every hair on our head. We are valuable to Him.
The Book of Luke, Chapter 12, Verse 7
He knew us in our mother’s womb and knitted us together.
The Book of Jeremiah, Chapter 1, Verse 5
The Book of Psalms, Chapter 139, Verses 13-14
God has a plan for us: to prosper us, give us hope, and a future.
The Book of Jeremiah, Chapter 29, Verse 11
Our Role in Stewardship
After the beginning of time, God gave man life with His breath and then formed woman from man. Man (Adam) tilled the fields of the garden where God placed him to live. God said you may freely eat from all trees except one because it’s not good for you and it will kill you. Adam named all of the living creatures God created. God thought it wasn’t good for Adam to be alone, so He formed woman (Eve) from Adam’s rib. Eve was Adam’s wife. Adam was Eve’s husband.
Genesis 2
God is helping His people to establish His kingdom on earth. We aren’t persuaded by the illusion and love for money because our treasures are in heaven. Like Adam and Eve, we have a responsibility to each other and to the Lord God. He gives us His resources: time, wealth, possessions including property, talents, abilities, skills, knowledge, jobs, relationships, and Scripture. We have a responsibility to seek His wisdom in all affairs, dealings, and transactions. He has given us an “active manager” role of what He owns. He shows us how to be trustworthy with every opportunity He appoints to us. He teaches us how to manage His house and everything in it. Everything we do and all that we work for is for the Lord. He is the ultimate provider, planner, decision maker, and executor of all happenings in our lives. It is our humble agreement to obey Him because what He says is true and we are in awe at how great His love is for us. We work joyfully, diligently, humbly, and sacrificially for others while sharing the good news of Jesus Christ to those who don’t know him. God does everything for the good of His creation and to reveal His glory. We are witnesses to His glory because of Jesus Christ.

The Good News
There is a good God that exists outside of time, space, and matter. This God, our eternal and heavenly Father created you to be in a relationship with Him. In the absence of good, there is evil. Evil has corrupted the human heart and causes humans to separate themselves from God resulting in broken relationships, destruction, pain, and suffering. So, God made a promise to Himself that He would restore the relationship between Himself and humankind by entering creation in the form of a man named Jesus Christ. Jesus being fully God, humbled himself as a man who lived a perfect life, without sin. He was hated by society and was tortured to death on a cross because of religious and political elites. But, this is all part of God’s plan. Three days later, He rose from the dead, first appearing to women and then to about 500 eyewitnesses, which fulfilled the scriptures, and confirmed His authority over sin and death and proved His divinity as God. It doesn’t matter where you come from, what you look like, what you’ve done, what you’ve been through, who you believe you are — there is a very real and good God who loves you so much that He entered creation as Son, Jesus Christ, not to condemn you, but save you from a life without Him. He is the truth, the life, and the way. He leads us to repentance and forgives the sins of mankind. Knowing Him is the only way to know God, the Father. He came to set you free and deliver you from evil. He came to give you His Spirit (the Holy Spirit) to have a new life so you can be restored to our Creator, God, in relationship with Him forever.
This is good news.
